Sustainability at BRAND®

BRANDTECH® Scientific is the US and Canadian division of the BRAND Group and we share the common corporate values of sustainability and environmental awareness. This year, EcoVadis performed an independent audit on the activities of BRAND GMBH + CO KG in the areas of the environment, labor and human rights, ethical conduct, and sustainable procurement. EcoVadis has rated more than 100,000 companies worldwide in corporate social responsibility based on information from production, logistics, facility management, HR, legal, purchasing and marketing.

We’re excited to announce that BRAND GMBH + CO KG has been rated among the top 25% of companies in their rating system and awarded a silver status. This recognition motivates us to continue our efforts in the US and Germany to decrease our carbon footprint and continue our environmental awareness efforts. 

A new look for BRANDTECH Scientific

A new modern look for BRANDTECH is being introduced thru the end of the year with a full launch in January. The new logo and positioning align with the global branding and conveys a cohesive story for BRANDTECH and its association with the BRAND Group. The design will be leading the look and feel of the new BRANDTECH website due to launch in early 2023.

Sales Spotlight – Alex Mangas

Alex Mangas has been a BRANDTECH Sales Representative for 3 years in the Mid-Atlantic region, based in Philadelphia. After working for a large distributor, Alex was eager to join the team as he already had relationships with our other sales reps, and was already selling many of our products. While the city of brotherly love has treated him well, Alex is excited for his next chapter where he will be relocating to the Chicago area with his soon-to-be wife, Julia, and taking over our North Central territory. A native of the Midwest, Alex says "Chicago is a big city with lots of history. We'll be closer to friends and family, and I'm actually missing snow!" When asked what is his favorite BRANDTECH product to sell, Alex immediately answers the new accu-jet® S. "I like the new features, and bar-none we have the best instrument out there. When you show a customer, you can see the wheels turn -

'Oh wow, this is so much better than the one I'm using'." It's an easy sell once you get it in their hands."

A Happy Scientist

Our team recently did a VACUU·LAN® install and training at PITT (University of Pittsburgh) where we left a few samples of our liquid handling products. In visiting Guangyi Zhao on a return trip, he had great things to say about our pipettes. With “swagger” he went on to saying he LOVED the Transferpette® S, and has ordered 2 more sets, plus is planning on purchasing additional multi-channels for the lab.

BRANDTECH Office Update

Some spooky visitors are enjoying the new office space conversion which created “huddle” rooms for conference calls and personal meetings.  With sales and office staff partially remote the new space accommodates online engagement and the results are a nice addition to the office.  

AEC Accreditation

Get your AIA credits in before the end of the year! We have added two new AEC accredited events to our schedule.
