Training in Wertheim Germany
Seven BRANDTECH colleagues travelled to the BRAND and VACUUBRAND production facilities in Wertheim, Germany for training. They were greeted with the utmost hospitality and had the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Wertheim. The trip included tours of BRAND and VACUUBRAND production facilities where they experienced the process of turning raw materials into finished products, and the absolute precision that goes into it. With everything from the newest, cutting-edge technology to vacuum pumps that dated 30+ years, Mat Carignan stated “The entire facility is like a giant museum”.
The week was full of in-depth product training including time in the in-house lab facilities. The fully functioning labs are complete with fume hoods, rotary evaporators, and more for testing, training, and new product development. Time with the German colleagues gave them the opportunity for a more in depth understanding of the liquid handling and vacuum products we offer. Overall, the group came away from the trip with a deeper product knowledge, a stronger understanding of the production process and an appreciation for a pint of the local pilsner.
