Global Sales Management Meeting in Germany

The BRAND Group hosted its first in-person Global Sales Management Meeting in Wertheim, Germany post-pandemic (or since 2019) the first week of July. Team members from The Group’s subsidiaries in China, USA, and India met at the Company headquarters with European staff to review and discuss strategic topics such as sustainability, regulatory affairs, digital marketing plans and IT infrastructure updates. This was followed by successive days with VACUUBRAND® and BRAND® where the teams discussed both near-term and long-term global market outlooks for the future into 2030.

 

This week culminated in a BRAND Group family fest, as employees and their families were invited to attend an on-site celebration at both the BRAND and VACUUBRAND manufacturing sites in Wertheim. This was a huge success with over 2,000 people attending the event throughout the day. Employees and their families were treated to a wide variety of food and drink as well as fun family activities. Our BRAND Group family enjoyed such activities as games, inflatables, face painting as well as tours of the manufacturing and warehousing facilities for all to enjoy.

VACUU·LAN® Lab Vacuum System Install at Boston University

Earlier this year, our team  traveled to Boston University to complete the installation of a VACUU•LAN lab vacuum system. This lab vacuum, consisting of a PC 3016 VARIO® select pump, is serving a total of 29 active inlets spread across two labs - one dedicated to research and the other for teaching.

 

With a strong effort to advancing scientific knowledge, the research lab will utilize the vacuum system to conduct experiments and further their research. In the teaching lab, students will have the opportunity to explore hands-on learning experiences by taking advantage of professional lab tools to gain practical skills and insights to use in the field.

 

By providing a reliable and efficient lab vacuum solution, the university will empower its researchers and educators to make advancements in scientific discoveries as well as shape the next generation of lab specialists. We cannot wait to see the impact our VACUU•LAN lab vacuum system has on Boston University.
