Leveraging Automation

As we gear up for SLAS 2024 in Boston next month, BRANDTECH is thrilled to be part of the growing progression in lab automation. Gold and Silver for the Brand Group

BRAND, VACUUBRAND and VITLAB achieved outstanding results in the independent sustainability rating of the EcoVadis evaluation platform.

 

BRAND was awarded gold status for its sustainability activities in 2023. This places it among the top 5% of comparable companies. BRAND improved their results significantly compared to the previous silver rating in 2022, especially in the environmental protection ratings.

 

VACUUBRAND and VITLAB also took part in the EcoVadis rating in 2023 to present their sustainability measures to a wider public for the first time. This step was immediately rewarded with silver status, placing them among the top 25% of comparable companies.

 

The EcoVadis database includes over 100,000+ rated companies of all sizes worldwide. More than 300 assessment criteria include climate and environmental protection, good working conditions, social and ethical performance, sustainable procurement, and due diligence in supply chains. For the Brand Group, economic success and sustainable performance are inseparable. "For many years, Brand Group companies have been highly committed to making a tangible contribution to sustainability. We do this for the laboratories of our customers, at our worldwide sites and along our global supply chains. The outstanding results in the EcoVadis sustainability rating are an appreciation of these efforts," reports Dr. Christoph Schöler, Managing Partner of the Brand Group.

 

Sales – New Position, New goals!

The newly appointed BRANDTECH Sales Directors are eager to embark on the new year. With over 50 years combined tenure with BRANDTECH, Glenn Erdman and John Rux's shared views will compliment each other to aid our team in developing their territory strategies and bringing BRANDTECH products to the right customers. "I'm very excited to return to the sales side of things, our team is energized and I'm looking forward to getting our products in all the right places" says Rux, Sales Director West. I appreciate the time I spent on the OEM side of the business, and can now apply that knowledge to further serve our end-users. Erdman, Sales Director East, adds "I'm now getting a more complete view of the total business. I already work closely with my reps to help them develop what will work best for them, being able to bounce ideas off of one another as new challenges arise will continue to strengthen our organization."
