VACUUBRAND quality oil-free pumps typically require NO maintenance for 7-8 years. Fluoropolymer (PTFE) vacuum tubing is much more chemical resistant than copper, ensuring long tubing life without leaks.

How it works!
The system is plumbed quickly and easily with PTFE tubing and compression fittings – no copper pipe! Specialized fixtures with integrated check valves provide vacuum stability and support multiple users. Automated pumps speed up and slow down as needed to meet user demand, and go into sleep mode when there is no demand on the system. Our demand-responsive automated pumps allow users to set the vacuum depth to suit their scientific needs, to as deep as 2 mbar (29.86 in Hg).

Chemical Resistant Tubing verses Copper Pipe
VACUU·LAN systems use durable, PTFE chemical-resistant tubing, and PVDF fittings to deliver years of reliable performance. Copper pipe traditionally used in vacuum systems corrodes over time and leads to loss of vacuum and contamination problems. With flexible tubing and compression fittings, installation is faster and easier than a copper piping.
