Gold and Silver for the Brand Group

BRAND was awarded gold status for its sustainability activities in 2023. This places it among the top 5% of comparable companies. BRAND improved their results significantly compared to the previous silver rating in 2022, especially in the environmental protection ratings.

VACUUBRAND and VITLAB also took part in the EcoVadis rating in 2023 to present their sustainability measures to a wider public for the first time. This step was immediately rewarded with silver status, placing them among the top 25% of comparable companies.

The EcoVadis database includes over 100,000+ rated companies of all sizes worldwide. More than 300 assessment criteria include climate and environmental protection, good working conditions, social and ethical performance, sustainable procurement, and due diligence in supply chains. For the Brand Group, economic success and sustainable performance are inseparable. "For many years, Brand Group companies have been highly committed to making a tangible contribution to sustainability. We do this for the laboratories of our customers, at our worldwide sites and along our global supply chains.
